Learn to layer

Just like how we keep warm, with different layers of clothing we can do the same with our skin. Keeping your face moisturised in the winter is key as it tends to get very dry with all the different temparetures it is trying to adapt to. Sealing your skin with a butter is a great tip. (shea, pure butter balms, sticks and rich body creams).

Get Lippy

Don't forget to keep your lips moistuised too! Especially if you like to wear lipstick, adding a lip balm on before applying your lipstick will help keep them moisturised throughout the day.

Exfoliating

Exfoliating in the winter is always a must! Get rid of the dry dead skin and give your new layers room to breathe. We often forget to help the skin off clean off dead cells in the winter, particularly on our hands. Yet moisture can’t get in if the dead cells are too plentiful.

Hydrate from the inside

And last but not least, hydrate from the inside out. Lots of water and get plenty of vitamin C.
